<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent magnetic flux leakage of a driving force transmission device and to improve dimensional accuracy without needing cost increase. SOLUTION: In the driving force transmission device provided with an electromagnet 7 for frictionally engaging a friction clutch 5 made of many frictional plates, an outside rotating member 1 is constituted of a cylindrical front housing 2a and a rear housing 2b for covering the front housing 2a. Both of the housings 2a and 2b are made of magnetic bodies and are joined via a shim 2c made of non-magnetic substance. A plurality of shims 2c having thickness X of different axial directions are prepared and a shim 2c having optimum thickness is selected among them.</p> |
