<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a styrene-based resin foam having excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance and oil resistance in addition to excellent moldability, rigidity and heat-insulating property which the styrene-based resin foam originally has. SOLUTION: This styrene-based resin foam 1 is obtained by foaming a resin composition comprising (A) a styrene-based resin, (B) a propylene-based resin and (C) a graft-modified propylene-based resin as a compatibilizer and a cell membrane 10 in the foam 1 has a layered structure composed of the styrene- based resin (A) and the propylene-based resin (B). In the styrene-based resin foam, when the cell membrane 10 is viewed from cross section in thickness direction, several numbers (n) in which perpendicular line 200 obtained by drawing a line from the surface of the cell membrane is crossed with the propylene- based resin (B) are >=4 and the density is <=0.5 g/cm3 and the closed cell fraction is >=20%.</p> |
