PACKAGING PAPER FOR INFORMATION SHEETS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide packaging paper for information sheets which is excellent in an apparent feel of luster and moistureproof characteristics and has high operability of mechanical packaging. SOLUTION: The packaging paper for information sheets is made by a process wherein one-side coated paper is used as base paper, the coated surface of the base paper is subjected to offset printing or gravure printing and then a synthetic resin film is stuck thereon. The base paper is preferably a layer coated by an amount of 10-30 g/m2 and the Bekk smoothness of the coated layer is 500 sec or above, while the thickness of the synthetic resin film is 10μm or above. The moisture permeability of the packaging paper is 50 g/m2-24 hr or below.
