PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic element capable of forming a coloring dye image and a silver image in different regions without separately processing the regions. SOLUTION: The color photographic element includes a base having at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a coupler capable of forming a coloring dye by development and also having a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a coupler capable of releasing a thiovinyl group, by development, capable of forming a neutral silver-base image by reaction. The color photographic element is suitable for forming both a coloring dye image and a neutral silver-base image.
