PURPOSE: Provided is a white porous polyester film used as a substitute for paper, which has a low gravity, excellent feel, and improved whiteness and covering ability by forming proper size, shape, and distribution of pores in the film. CONSTITUTION: The white porous polyester film is produced by stretching a mixed resin comprising a polyester resin containing a polyolefin resin, less than 10pts.wt. of inorganic particles having a diameter of 0.01-10 micrometer, 0.01-0.5pts.wt. of a fluorescent whitening agent, at least one additive, and additionally 1-15pts.wt. of spherical glass beads having an average particle size of 1-20 micrometer. The polyolefin resin has a melt index of 1-25g/min and the content of the polyolefin resin is 1-25pts.wt. based on the total amount of the resin.
