PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch releasing control device for an automatic sliding door available when halted, which is free from an influence of conditions at the time of motor stoppage, and positively disengages an engaging-type clutch. SOLUTION: According to the clutch releasing control device, when the sliding door is totally closed, the driving motor is stopped to interrupt energization on the electromagnetic clutch (S6), and the driving motor is energized over a short period of time so as to be activated in a closing direction (S7), followed by interrupting energization on the driving motor. Then, the driving motor is energized over a short period of time so as to be activated in an opening direction (S9), and thereafter energization on the driving motor is interrupted (S10), followed by completing the processes. In this manner, even if a force is applied to the electromagnetic clutch and door-side teeth and motor- side teeth of the electromagnetic clutch are engaged with each other, by forward rotating or backward rotating the driving motor, the engagement can be released, to implement a disengaged state of the clutch. |
