PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reflection type color liquid crystal display which is bright and sharp with a low power consumption and high contrast ratio without requiring back light by efficiently reflecting the external light of a large light quantity from the upper side in the viewing direction. SOLUTION: The reflection type color liquid crystal display consists of a display part 53 and a processing part 52 which are joined by an angle setting means 35. The display part 53 consists of a liquid crystal display part 30 as a liquid crystal display means composed of a polarizing film 20, a liquid crystal element 31, a color filter 33, etc., a blazed reflector 23 as a reflecting means, a matching agent 32, and a fixing agent 34. The liquid crystal display means efficiently transmits the incident light 11 from the upside in large light quantity in the direction out of the normal direction. The reflecting means reflects the light transmitting the liquid crystal display means as reflected light 12 in the viewing direction 40 which is the normal direction. |
