PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestal member for packing which is improved in packability and convenience in a manufacturing line with a simple structure using reusable materials. SOLUTION: The pedestal member 1 for packing for dividedly mounting legs of an article having the legs on its lower part while the legs are divided into front and rear legs or into right and left legs has supports 12 provided on a strip-formed top plate member 10 and is formed in a shape of an elongate pedestal having hollow regions between the supports 12 below the top plate member 10. The member 10 has an insertion hole 10a provided, into which a leg of the article is inserted, and a fixing means 13 for keeping the leg of the article passing through the member 10 to prevent it from dropping to have it fixed is provided in the vicinity of the hole 10a.
