PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fixing member which is hard to peel in normal handling and can be manually easily peeled in coping with glass thickness even when a less peelable material such as an olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer is used. SOLUTION: The glass fixing member housed in a recess part and contacting and supporting the end edge part of a glass plate is integrally provided with a locking part locked to the recess part and a support part contacting and supporting the end edge part of the glass plate. The support part is provided with a plurality of support pieces laminated peelably in the direction of supporting glass plate, an end edge joined part mutually joining the ends of the plurality of the support pieces exposed from the recess part when it is set in the recess part, and a middle joined part mutually joining at least one- points on a plane between the end edge joined parts and opposed side parts of the adjacent support pieces.
