PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating granulated blast furnace slag, by which hydration reaction and solidification can be sufficiently inhibited without necessitating a large scale equipment. SOLUTION: The treatment of the granulated blast furnace slag is carried out by spraying an aqueous solution of carbonic acid.
