PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact wire winding device causing no irregular winding when winding a plurality of layers of wire around a drum. SOLUTION: This wire winding device is provided with a drum 3 for winding the wire 3 around thereof, a cylindrical body 5 arranged so that the wire passes through the inside thereof before winding around the drum, and a turning support means 7 for supporting one end 5b of the cylindrical body freely to be turned so that the other end 5a of the cylindrical body abuts on the drum freely to be moved.
