PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a data to a PLD without imposing a load to a user in the inspection circuit of which at least the one portion is constituted of the PLD. SOLUTION: At least the one portion of the inspection circuit 2 is constituted of the PLDs 2a-2c, and contents of the PLDs are changed in response to a difference in every inspected circuit board 4 to cope with inspection for the various kinds of circuit boards 4 without changing hardware constitution of the inspection circuit 2. When the content of the PLD is changed, a list of the inspected circuit boards 4 is displayed by a list displaying part 16, the inspected circuit board selected by the user is determined by a discrimination- specifying part 17, and a PLD file made preliminarily to correspond to the inspected circuit board determined by the specifying part 17 is specified by a PDL loading part 15, to be loaded to the PLD.
