Iron-based alloy contains alloying additions of 10-20 wt.% Co, 2-6.5 wt.% Cr, Mo and/or V and less than 0,02 wt.% C. The amount of Ni together with Mn is less than 0.4 wt.%. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of a semi-finished product made of a cobalt-iron alloy comprising producing workpieces made of an alloy based on Fe containing 10-20 wt.% Co and 2-6.5 wt.% Cr, Mo and/or V by melting and heat deforming, and then annealing for 0.25 hours at 800-880 degrees C. |
