METHOD FOR CRYSTALLIZING 7-AMINOCEPHALOSPORANIC ACID

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for crystallizing 7-aminocephalosporanic acid(7-ACA) by adding acid having the mean value of each pKa of amino groups and carboxyl group to increase dissolving rate and filtration time. CONSTITUTION: The crystallizing method of 7-ACA is characterized by adding acid having 4-5 pKa, wherein in the acid is selected from the group consisting of acetic acid or formic acid. Therefore, 7-ACA having regular crystal size is manufactured in high yield.
