METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PLACING OVERALL LENGTH OF PILE INTO GROUND AND JIG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To press piles in using a hydraulic pile presser and drawer while adjusting the top ends of the piles to the ground level GL (or level of trench excavation and so forth) without performing trench excavation. SOLUTION: To place eight piles from no. 1 to no. 8 shown in Fig., for example, the top ends of the eight piles are adjusted to a high limit level (indicated by the imaginary line) which is higher than the ground level GL by a height H (processes thus far are possible by application of conventional techniques). Further, piles as dummies A and B are placed and a pile driver and drawer body 1 is supported as the dummy piles are clamped by means of clamps 2. Under these conditions, the top ends of the no. 1 to no. 8 piles to be placed are pressed down to the ground level GL by a rear cylinder 7. Thereafter, the dummy piles are drawn out by the pile drawer as the pile drawer body 1 is supported by a reaction frame (not shown in Fig.).
