Disclosed is a protective case (10) for a media device with a built-in camera lens. The protective case (10) comprises a protective element (200), a housing element and a lens window. The protective element (200) comprises a protective element base and a protective element sidewall extending upwardly from the protective element base to define a protective element enclosure adapted to receive the media device. The protective element (200) comprises a resilient material. The housing element comprises a housing element base (22) and a housing element sidewall (20) extending upwardly from the base (22) to define a housing element enclosure adapted to receive the protective element (200), and a cover (30) removably connected to the base (22). The lens window (50) disposed in the housing element base (22). When the media device is disposed in the protective case (10), the built-in camera lens is coaxially aligned with the lens window (50), and the protective element (200) is sufficiently compressed against the interior of the housing element enclosure to maintain the built-in lens in coaxial alignment with the lens window (50). |
