Scintillation detector for electromagnetic radiation

Detector comprises a scintillator (6), a CMOS chip (3) and a ceramic base element (4). An intermediate layer (2) containing two adhesives (A, B) of different consistencies and a spacer is arranged between the scintillator and chip or between the chip and base element. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of an intermediate layer between the scintillator and chip or between the chip and base element. Preferred Features: The spacer is a wire made from Au and AlSil. The base element is made from aluminum oxide.
