PURPOSE: A piston valve of a shock absorber is provided to easily control damping force characteristics at the low-speed section and to meet riding comfort and control stability. CONSTITUTION: A piston valve of shock absorber is equipped with a body(21) forming plural compression passages(28) and tensile passages(29), and a single disk(27) and multi-disk(26) opening and shutting the compression and tensile passages. A sheet disk(22) forming a C-shaped slit is installed between the lower surface of the body and the multi-disk. A disk-S forming plural inclined slits(24a) is installed at the bottom of the sheet disk. A retainer(23) is installed between the sheet disk and disk-S to keep the gap. Therefore, the damping force characteristics at the low-speed section is easily controlled and riding comfort and control stability are improved.
