PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method which prevents deterioration of image quality inclusive of bleeding of ink to the periphery in an image printer caused by ink discharge quantity. SOLUTION: When the predetermined gradation of a reproduced image is expressed by a plurality of dot patterns and outputted to an image printer for discharging ink corresponding to the dot patterns, the conversion from the gradation to dot patterns is controlled so as to include a blank so that the total discharge quantity of ink of the image printer does not exceed a predetermined threshold value. |
