PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thin-layer sugar-coated tablet useful for masking an unpleasant odor and preventing formation of whiskers and capable of producing a sugarless tablet, reducing the production time and providing a smaller size and a lower moisture content. SOLUTION: This thin-layer sugar-coated tablet is obtained by manually applying a sugar coating liquid comprising sucrose or a sugar alcohol, especially a glucide such as erythritol, an excipient and a binder to an uncoated table or spraying the sugar liquid as droplets having 0.1-1,000μm particle diameter on the uncoated tablet and carrying out sugar coating of 10-60% based on the weight of the uncoated tablet.
