发明名称 METHOD FOR THERMAL INSULATION OF METALLIC BASE MATERIAL
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal barrier coating(TBC) system which has improved thermal insulation characteristics and by which gas turbine engine parts of different shapes, thicknesses and sizes can be treated without requiring a high- temperature heat treatment for adhesion of a bond coat. SOLUTION: The TBC system having improved thermal insulation characteristics without requiring a high-temperature heat treatment for adhesion of a bond coat is applied to gas turbine engine parts of various shapes, thicknesses and sizes. This thermal barrier system requires no high-temperature heat treatment at the above adhesion of the bond coat for producing bonding between the metallic bond coat and a metallic base material. Further, a porous ceramic heat insulating layer is formed on the metallic bond coat. This coating system can be effectively used in particular for metallic parts liable to cause deformation during heat treatment and parts requiring thermal insulation treatment in a mounted state.
