PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing device of an air conditioner capable of consistently storing a packed air conditioner body even when slight deviation is generated during the loading and storage by providing a reinforcing corner pad on upper and lower ends of a stay provided on four corner parts. SOLUTION: In this packing device of the air conditioner comprising a box-like corrugated fiberboard bottom plate 1, a lower cushioning body which is disposed on the right and left sides inside the bottom plate 1 with a body placed thereon, an upper cushioning body disposed on the right and left sides of an upper part of the body, an inner corner surface of the bottom plate 1, a stay 6 erected on four corners so as to be brought into contact with an outer corner surface of the upper cushioning body, and corrugated fiberboard top plate which is covered over the upper cushioning body, a horizontal part 7a is held between an upper end of the stay 6 at four corners and an upper surface of the top plate, and between the lower end and the bottom surface of the bottom plate 1, a corner pad 7 with which the vertical part 7b is brought into contact abutted is provided on the corner side surface at two sides of the upper surface of the top plate and the bottom surface of the bottom plate 1, a recessed part a is provided in a flute of the corrugated fiberboard at the position where the horizontal part 7a of the upper surface of the top plate and the bottom surface of the plate 1, and the horizontal part 7a is embedded in the recessed part a.
