PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device by which appropriate printing processing is attained by uniformly supplying a developing roller with developer in a longitudinal direction without being affected by the change of the flow property of the developer. SOLUTION: This developing device A1 possesses a partitioning member 2 having a first aperture part 20A and a second aperture part 20B partitioning the inside of a container 1 for storing the developer into a first chamber 10A and a second chamber 10B and also making them communicate with each other. The partitioning member 2 is provided with a third aperture part 20C to guide the developer scraped off from either the outer peripheral surface of the developing roller 5A or a developer supply path to the outer peripheral surface by a blade 50 to the first chamber 10A, so that the quantity of the developer passing through the third aperture part 20C is freely changed so as to be increased and reduced. |
