PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable indicator with which each operator can communicate with each other. SOLUTION: Each programmable indicator 5 is connected with each other through a local area network 6 and can display the state of a device 21 which a programmable logic controller 3 connected to another programmable indicator controls or instruct state control. The multimedia data processing part 65 of the programmable indicator 5 of a transmission side generates multimedia data showing a video and sound which are inputted from a camera 8 and a microphone 9, and transmits it to the programmable indicator 5 of a reception side. In the programmable indicator 5 of the reception side, the multimedia processing part 65 reproduces multimedia data by using a liquid crystal display 54 and a loudspeaker 57. Thus, an abnormality can be reported in voice and by video without performing a key operation. |
