The present invention relates to a steel sheet with excellent flame resistance. More specifically, the present invention relates to a steel sheet with excellent flame resistance, which includes a flame resistant coating layer formed by using a composition for coating a flame resistant coating layer, wherein the composition further includes: a steel sheet; a main resin at least on one side of the steel sheet; a melamine hardening agent; aluminum hydroxide; a cross-linking accelerator; and a remainder of an additive and a solvent. The thickness of the flame resistant coating layer is 5-50 μm.
