PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a foamed resin molded material having an excellent heat resistance and chemical resistance, and a foamed resin material container. SOLUTION: This method for producing the foamed resin molded material is provided by using a styrene-based foamed resin sheet having a foam membrane 10 in the foamed material 1 which is a layered structure consisting of a styrene-based resin (A) with a propylene-based resin (B) and having n>=4 which is a number of a perpendicular line B drawn from the surface of the foam membrane crossing the propylene-based resin (B) on viewing the foam membrane 10 from its thickness direction, preliminary heating in a temperature range from (Tpm-30 deg.C) to (Tpm+15 deg.C) and then molding it as a desired shape [wherein, Tpm is a peak melting temperature for the propylene-based resin (B)].
