摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a relative position between the low transmittance part of a diffusion sheet for reducing luminance unevenness between lamps constituting a backlight and the lamps from being deviated due to heat, in a liquid crystal display device equipped with a direct backlight. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel 1 is arranged on the upper part of the direct backlight 2, and a diffusion sheet 3 made of material with a small coefficient of thermal expansion is stuck to the backlight side of the liquid crystal panel 1. The backlight and the liquid crystal panel are separatedly arranged. A low transmittance part 5 is formed in the portion of the diffusion sheet 3 which faces just above the lamp 4 of the backlight. The low transmittance part 5 is formed by printing a black dot pattern so that the pattern is dense just above the lamp 4, and gradually becomes rough as apart from just above the lamp 4. The deviation of the relative position between the low transmittance part of the diffusion sheet and the lamp due to heat can be prevented by such constitution, and the luminance unevenness between the lamps can be lowered.
