PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron beam irradiator which can withstand a high- output electron beam irradiation. SOLUTION: Since a disk-like window 12 is rotated by a rotating mechanism 13, heat is conducted to other areas of the window 12 even if heat is generated due to the interaction between an electron beam and atoms of a metal used for the window 12 when the electron beam passes through the window 12. In other words, the disk-like window 12 itself functions as a radiator plate. As a result, the lifetime of the window 12 is prolonged by preventing it from melting due to the heat. Even if a high-output electron beam is applied, moreover, the window 12 can withstand by being cooled sufficiently because an exposed part of the window 12 is cooled by a cooling means 18. In addition, the strength of the window 12 can be enhanced and the costs of it can be decreased by making only an area shaped like a ring in the window 12 which is opposite to an irradiation aperture 4 of the electron beam irradiator in a metal thin film which allows the electron beam to pass through.
