PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aside mirror control method for minimizing or removing the problem in a prior art, a mirror tilt-control method allowing the specified vertical tile adjustment of a mirror irrespective of the initial horizontal tilt position of a side mirror at the time of shifting of a reverse gear, and a mirror tilt-control method capable of further meeting the preference of an individual driver. SOLUTION: The horizontal tilt position of the occupant side mirror is detected. When the position is within a specified range, the mirror moves along a first routine. When the horizontal tilt position of the occupant side mirror is detected to come out of the specified range, the mirror moves along a second routine.
