PALLET LOCKING DEVICE OF PALLET TRANSPORT VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet locking device of a pallet transport vehicle capable of automatically allowing the center of a pallet to align with the center of a deck when the pallet is moved even if the pallet is loaded on the deck with the center thereof dislocated with each other. SOLUTION: This pallet transport vehicle 1 advances in between the leg parts of the pallet 10 having the leg parts 12 with the deck 5 lowered and raises the deck 5 to support the pallet 10 for transportation. Divergent tapered locking grooves 15 are provided in the rear surface of the frame of the pallet at right and left positions. A locking device 21 having a tapered part 21a engaged with the locking groove 15 of the pallet 10 provided at the tip thereof is installed so as to be capable of being lifted on the pallet transport vehicle. When the pallet 10 is loaded on the pallet transport vehicle 1, the locking device 21 is pressed against the locking groove 15. When the pallet 10 moves to the deck during traveling, traveling stability is assured since the centers are aligned with each other.
