PURPOSE: A multi-functional switch assembly for a vehicle is provided to reduce parts and the length of the process, improve work efficiency, to prevent friction noise, and to improve rotational response property. CONSTITUTION: A multi-functional switch assembly for a vehicle is equipped with a switch assembly composed of a lighting switch(14) and a washer and wiper switch, an SRC(Steering Roll Contact) assembly(70), and a lighting switch contact portion. The lighting switch is fixed to a bracket(12) of a steering column(10) by a self-stopper. The SRC assembly is equipped with fixing units connected to a main wiring and a rotating unit connected to an air bag inflater. The rotating unit rotates simultaneously with a cancel cam(60) as one body. The lighting contact portion is formed of an opposite contact type composed of contacts of multi-functional switch of a relay less type. The SRC assembly comprises a case, a cover, a rotor, and a plate wire. The parts and the length of the process are reduced and the work efficiency is improved because the switch assembly is directly inserted and fixed to the steering column bracket.
