PURPOSE: A vibration damping apparatus of a manual change lever for a vehicle is provided to reduce vibration and noise efficiently in idling at the neutral range by installing a vibration damping unit in the change lever. CONSTITUTION: A damping rubber(130) is inserted between bonding frames(120) arranged in upper and lower parts. A through hole(132) is formed in the damping rubber and the middle of the bonding frame, and the rubber is combined with the bonding frame by a bolt(140) and a nut(142) in contacting to each other. A change lever(100) is inserted to the through hole of the damping rubber, and the contact portion between the change lever and the through hole is welded. Vibration from idling is transmitted to the change lever at the neutral range in traveling or parking. The amplitude is decreased with transmitting vibration through bonding frames and the damping rubber. Noise is reduced with damping vibration in idling at the neutral range during traveling.
