PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic infusion device that can perform appropriate transfusion when a nurse, etc., performs simple setting in accordance with a temporal instruction to perform transfusion within an instructed period of time or another instruction on the quantity of transfusion per unit time given from a doctor, etc. SOLUTION: This automatic infusion device is provided with a tube sandwiching section 21 which has an infusion drip detecting means 36 which detects the drip of a liquid chemical contained in a drip transfusion pipe 4, converts the detected drip into an electric signal, and sandwiches part of an infusion tube in accordance with the electric signal, a mode setting key 12 which sets a prearranged quantity to be infused of the liquid chemical, an integrating means 42 which integrates the number of drips per unit quantity of an infusion set and the infused quantity of the liquid chemical. The infusion device is also provided with an up-down key 11 which sets the terminating time of the prearranged quantity to be infused, an arithmetic means 40 which computes the flow rate of the liquid chemical from the number of drips and terminating time, and a display control means 43 which displays the computed flow rate on a displaying means 44. |
