PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide surgical equipment improved so as to continuously and reliably transmit displacement at a time when two housing members are alternately pressed against a pinching and cutting member for operating surgery. SOLUTION: In surgical equipment 150 for ophthalmological surgery, in which one end of a bearing arm 30 is operatably connected to a housing member, a conversion mechanism 45 is mounted to the other end, and which is formed so as to force one function mechanism 90 having a pinching or cutting member into and fix, when the two housing members 10 and 20 formed so as to depart from the bearing arm 30 are alternately pressed, a motion produced nearly perpendicularly to the bearing arm 30 is converted to a linear motion directed axially of the function mechanism 90 and at the same time a driving member to operate the pinching or cutting member 95 in cooperation with the conversion mechanism 45 can move axially. |
