PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for greening by hydroponics with protecting from root acid of ivy, capable of being easily installed to any building and planning to green by hydroponics with automatically feeding water and twining ivy to small pebbles by continuously increasing combination boxes for completely protecting water and roots with avoiding damages to the buildings caused by root acid in a method for greening roof and wall surfaces. SOLUTION: City buildings are greened by preparing combination boxes made of an acrylic resin or an ABS resin, continuously binding them and growing climbing ivies in waterproof and root-protecting water culture tanks having pebbles as the hydroponics with automatic water feed. The city environment is preserved by greening roofs, wall surfaces, sound insulation walls and the likes in the city to remove heat island phenomenon and beautify the city, absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen.
