PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a seedling-inserting machine capable of performing the seedling insertion work in a good efficiency, since in the cultivation of rush, the work of transplanting the seedlings separated by one root is performed conventionally by human hands, however, since in the seedling box as the seedbed, small seedling-growing boxes are arranged densely almost without gaps, it is difficult to insert the seedling into the central part of the seedling-growing box accurately and its working efficiency is inferior. SOLUTION: This seedling-inserting machine equipped with a seedling- inserting device 4 for taking out the seedling N from a seedling-supplying device 2 and inserting the seedling N into the seedbed is constituted as capable of supplying the seedlings into the above seedling-supplying device 2 by a plural number of workers, and provided by installing a speed-changing dial 100 capable of changing the seedling-supplying speed of the above seedling-supplying device 2.
