PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a formula feed having high commercial value from a raw soy sauce cake. SOLUTION: A raw soy sauce cake is compacted in the form of pellet to form a core 2 having improved fluidity necessary for the handling of the formula feed such as transportation and feeding. The core 2 is covered with a viscous liquid layer 3 to seal the characteristic smell of soy sauce cake and improve the palatability for the livestock. When the viscous liquid layer 3 is covered with a powdery feed layer 4, the mutual adhesion of the particles of the feed 1 and the adhesion of the feed particle to other part caused by the stickiness of the viscous liquid layer 3 can be prevented to secure the fluidity necessary for the handling of the formula feed such as the transportation and feeding of the feed. The palatability of the feed 1 is further improved by using a feed having high palatability as the powdery feed layer 4. |
