PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste gas deodorizing catalyst having excellent heat resistance and sulfur poisoning resistance. SOLUTION: The waste gas deodorizing catalyst contains silica doped anatase type titania, which is formed into oxide by mixing a silicon-containing compound with a titanium-containing compound in the molecular state and in which 3-35 wt.% silica is finely dispersed and held, and a catalyst noble metal supported on the silica doped anatase type titania. Because the catalyst noble metal is supported on the silica doped anatase type titania, the waste gas deodorizing catalyst free from the generation of sulfur poisoning and having excellent heat resistance is obtained. |
