PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide convertible type furniture which achieves the performance equivalent to that of exclusively used products in three forms of a baby bed, a sofa and a desk. SOLUTION: Basic components herein used are a pair of side plates 1, receiving frame members 2 which are mounted across the side plates detachably and with a changeable height thereof, a flat board 3, a frieze board 4 and cross pieces 5. In the form of the baby bed, the flat board 3 is erected behind the receiving frame members 2 set horizontally between both the side plates 1 while the frieze board 4 is erected in front thereof and the cross pieces 5 are put across above them and finally, a mattress 7 is laid on the top surface of the receiving frame members 2. In the form of the sofa, the flat board 3 and the frieze board 4 are erected behind the receiving frame members 2 set horizontally between both the side plates 1, a seat cushion is placed on the top of the receiving frame members 2 and finally a back rest cushion is placed along the front of the flat board 3 and the frieze board 4. In the form of the desk, the frieze board 4 is erected behind the flat board 3 set horizontally between both the side plates 1, the cross pieces 5 are put across below it and drawers are inserted under the flat board 3.
