PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To skillfully harvest plants such as young leaves of gramineous plants, e.g. rice plants or barleys or wheats. SOLUTION: This reaping apparatus 3 is equipped with a clipping machine 5 for carrying out clipping of the young leaves 2 on the tip side of a traveling chassis 4 and is composed by additionally installing a blower 28 for supplying air in the clipping machine 5, forming a blowoff port 29 of the blower 28 in a position in front of a clipping blade 19 so as to regulate the posture of the reaped rice plants 1 relatively to the clipping blade 19 of the clipping machine 5 and forming engaging members 33 for holding an opened harvesting bag 6 at the rear of the clipping machine 5 so that the height of the clipping blade 19 can be changed.
