METHOD OF MANUFACTURING GOLF CLUB HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a golf club head which is inexpensive in production cost and is excellent in mass productivity. SOLUTION: In plastic working of the clubface of the golf club head, the strain rate of a superplastic material is specified to 0.1 to 5 (1/sec) and the temperature of the superplastic material to Te+100 to Te ( deg.C). The material is combined with molds regulated to Te-75 to Te-225 ( deg.C)*(where Te ( deg.C) is the temperature which is below the melting point and indicated maximum elongation when the superplastic material is plastically deformed at the strain rate of 10-3 (1/sec)).
