The support component can be rolled up and supports a tent sheet in a dome tent or similra. It comprises a row of adjacent, end to end blocks (1) mutually articulatedly fixed relatively to each other, so that the row of blocks is freely pliable in one direction, but not completely or only to a limited extent in the other direction. - Each block is provided with at least one channel (2) in the support component longitudinal direction at a distance from the central plane of the block. In this channel extends an elongated tension component (3), the ends (4,5) of which are connected with the outermost blocks. At least the main parts of intermediate blocks are slidably arranged on the tension component. |
