RECOMBINANT VECTOR FOR EXPRESSING FUSED PROTEIN, AND METHOD FOR SPLITTING NON-HUMAN EXTRANUCLEAR GENE USING THE RECOMBINANT VECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recombinant vector for expressing fused protein that specifically splits a DNA in a cell organelle having an extranuclear gene, and to provide a method for splitting the non-human extranuclear gene using the recombinant vector. SOLUTION: This recombinant vector for expressing a fused protein is constructed by inserting a fused gene obtained by linking the base sequence encoding a traffic signal peptide to a cell organelle having an extranuclear gene (e.g. mitochondria) to the base sequence encoding the amino acid sequence of a restriction enzyme recognizing a specific base sequence into a plasmid having a promoter for expression. Introducing the recombinant vector into an objective cell or living body permits specifically splitting the extranuclear gene in a cell organelle.
