PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bender capable of bending a sheet metal to impart a stepped shape of high accuracy. SOLUTION: A punch 6 having a bending surface 6a is fixed to the lower surface of the die 4 of an upper die 2, an ironing holder 7 is freely supported by a slide member 10 in a vertically movable manner, a fixed die 9 is fixed to an upper surface of the die 5 of a lower die 3, a spacer 14 is embedded in the upper surface, and a movable die 8 having a working face 8c is freely supported by a slide member 11 in a vertically movable manner.
