PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide liquid cleaning equipment which does not restrict the Mg ions flowing out of an adsorbent 2 in an adsorbent cassette 1 when a liquid to be treated flows out in one direction and does not require frequent exchange of the costly adsorbent cassette 1 in carrying out large-flow rate treatment of the liquid to be treated. SOLUTION: The adsorbent 2 consisting of at least basic magnesium sulfate and magnesium hydroxide is housed into a housing body 15 consisting of a porous body or mesh-like body. This housing body is installed in a flow path of the liquid to be treated and the Mg ions are supplied into the liquid to be treated, by which the particles in the liquid to be treated are flocculated to large lumps and are thereafter captured by filtration equipment 20. The easy exchange of the adsorbent in the housing body is made possible and the dealing with the large-flow rate treatment is made possible even in the treatment of the one way liquid to be treated.
