PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove the arsenic included in soil regardless of its existence form. SOLUTION: The soil contaminated with the arsenic is heat treated and is then subjected to cleaning treatment. The soil contaminated with the arsenic is otherwise subjected to the cleaning treatment then to the heat treatment.
