PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for stably and uniformly covering the surface of an inorganic particle with boron nitride and a material having excellent heat conductivity, insulating property, heat radiation property, elongation, glossiness, slide feeling and ultraviolet cut-off property. SOLUTION: A precursor obtained by performing a polymerization reaction of a compound to be a boron source with a compound to be a nitrogen source on the surface of the inorganic particle or a precursor obtained by dipping boron nitride powder in a solution of an inorganic salt and removing the solvent is fired at least a time under a non-oxidizing or oxidizing atmosphere.
