FIELD: information technology.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for prediction of video involving replacement of an adjacent pixel not available in limited intra prediction mode, in which is limited use of adjacent pixel, and use of replaced adjacent pixel as a reference pixel. Disclosed is a method for intra prediction of video, which includes following steps: determining availability of a predetermined number of adjacent pixels used for intra prediction of a current block; if a first adjacent pixel is unavailable, searching for a second adjacent pixel, that is available by searching predetermined number of adjacent pixels in a predetermined direction based on first adjacent pixel; and replacing a pixel value of first adjacent pixel with a pixel value of a found second adjacent pixel. At least one third adjacent pixel in another position, which is not available and excludes first adjacent pixel at a predetermined position, is sequentially replaced by using a directly adjacent pixel in a predetermined direction.EFFECT: reduced complexity of process of determining reference pixels used for intra prediction.4 cl, 5 tbl, 32 dwg |
