PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method, which enables ordinary workers to finish a new design, thereby solving a problem that interior and exterior coatings are difficult to be finished to have a new design although coating means such as sprays, trowels, and rollers are employed, and saving a situation that the number of craftsmen of a skilled level decreases. SOLUTION: After forming a base layer by applying a base coating material mainly comprising synthetic resin emulsion, a top coating material comprising synthetic resin emulsion, soft aggregate, aggregate and the like is coated while spreading it by a trowel. At this time, the coating finishing is carried out while crushing the soft aggregate with a trowel, which enables ordinary workers to perform coating finishing of a new design.
