PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massaging mechanism not increased in its size even if the diameter of an operation element is made large and constituted so that the operation element does not collide with a rotary shaft at the time of passage of a stopper. SOLUTION: A massager is equipped with arms 13 and 14, which consist of a pair of operation elements 11 and 12 applying beating operation to a person to be treated by rotary motion, the rigid shaft parts 13a and 14a piercing the centers of the operation elements and leg parts 13b and 14b extending to both ends of the shaft parts and having elasticity, a rotary shaft 15, which forms operation element passing space parts 15a in the rotary region of the operation elements and connects the leg parts of the arms so as to straddle the operation element passing space parts and is rotated by a drive source, and a stopper 16 stopping the rotary motion of the operation elements during the rotation of the rotary shaft temporarily and set so as to separate the operation elements by curving the leg parts of the arms.
